I have Vat registered company which currently we are on the process for move the company virtual address from Bangkok to Khon Kaen. After we completed registered for change address at DBD in Bangkok then we register for such change at the Revenue Department in Khon Kaen but the tax officer rejected and informed that we have to register at the Revenue Department in Bangkok first and after, we can go to them again. Can you help to explain why I have to do it in Bangkok due to my company registered for change address to Khon Kaen already.

Panwa: Please note that as your company is Vat registered, after your company complete to register for change of address at DBD already, your company need to register for change address (move out) from the current address at the Revenue Department (RD) in Bangkok area first due to their system still have the old address and after, your company can register for change of address (move in) at RD in Khon Kaen again.

Can we register for change the VAT registered address in the destination province that we will move?
