I am American and I have a company under treaty of amity registered in Thailand. If I would like to change the shareholders, is it possible? And which government I need to proceed?
Panwa: As per your inquiries, please note that it is possible to change the shareholders of your company that registered under treaty of amity which you need to remain the American citizen as a majority shareholder than another nationality. Moreover, you need to do the process for change of shareholder at Department of Business Development (DBD) first then send the updated shareholders’ list document to the US Embassy in Thailand via email to let them know and update your company information on their system.
