If I would like to apply for a Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) for this year (2025), is it possible to start the process now?

Panwa: Please note that, normally, if you would like to apply for a Tax Residency Certificate (TRC), you must first file your Personal Income Tax (PIT) return for the relevant year. Since the PIT filing for 2025 must be submitted between January and March 2026, you will be able to request the TRC early next year, after the filing has been completed.
