Document Certification by Certified Public Accountants and Qualified Accountants**
Service Fee: 1,000 Baht per item (for each certification case)
Our Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), chartered accountant and qualified accountants can provide document certification services, provided that the receiving authority accepts such certification. We offer certification services that include the following:
- Certified true copy**
- Certified correct translation
- Signature notarization or “Signed before me”** – certifying the signature of an authorized signatory or witnessing the signing in person.
- Issuance of document certification or certifying statements of fact**
This certification must be accepted by the document recipient. In some cases, you may negotiate with the receiving agency regarding the qualifications of the certifier (a notary public is not always required).
Non-Notary Public Certification
Document certification is widely accepted when submitting documents to other institutions, such as for exam registration, membership applications, or proof of residence. You may be asked to present certified copies that confirm the documents are true and accurate reproductions of the originals.
Certified copies can be signed and dated by professionals such as auditors, accountant, doctors, police officers, senior civil servants, or other respected and qualified individuals in your community.
Examples of documents that may be certified include:
- Passport or national ID card
- Driver’s license (car or motorcycle)
- Letters or documents issued by government agencies
- Bank or credit card statements
- Utility bills (water, electricity, or telephone)
- Medical records
How to Certify a Document – For Certified True Copies
1. Bring both the original and photocopied documents to the certifier.
2. Stamp or write the phrase **“Certified True Copy”** on the document.
3. Sign the document.
4. Print the certifier’s name clearly below the signature.
5. Include the certifier’s qualification and registration number (if applicable), e.g., *Certified Public Accountant, License No. XXXX*.
6. Provide the certifier’s address and telephone number.
7. Indicate the date of certification.
