​The company have plan to pay dividend in 2020, which last year 2018, company has accumulated loss brought forward, in amount of 2 million baht. In current year 2019, net profit after tax is estimated to be 5 million baht. Can the company pay dividends?

Panwa: According to the Civil and Commercial Code, Section 1200-1205, the dividend can be paid only for the profit of 3 million baht, as it is not allowed to pay dividends until the loss is resolved.
