Our company received some requests from customers for gifts for their company functions. Will there be any issue if we buy gifts for donation purpose to them and is there limitation in terms of amount or type of gift that can be purchased?

Panwa: The cost of required gift by customer can be recorded as the company expense but the amount that can be deducted as taxable expense for the corporate income tax calculation is not over Baht 2,000 per person per time.
