We are the newly established company in Thailand which engaged the business as import-export and agency for trading but we have no any business activities at the moment. Should we register for Value Added Tax (VAT)? or when we should register for this?

Panwa: We would not like to recommend you to register the VAT at the moment because if the company registers the VAT, the company has duty to submit the Value Added Tax return form (PP.30) every month even though the company does not have any business activities.

You can consider to register the VAT when the company has annual income exceed 1,800,000 Baht within 30 days after the income reaches the threshold. Thus, when your business would like to register for VAT, we could assist for such please click here
