Change of company name and seal

- At Department of Business Development (DBD) is Baht 10,000.
- At Revenue Department (in case of registered for VAT) is Baht 8,000.
- We also can support for other places such as Social Security Office, Bank and other.

Questions and Answers
Q1 – My company is registered less than 1 year and our company does not register VAT. If I would like to change my company name, can I do it? If so, what is the procedure?Panwa: Please note that you can change the company name if you would like, as Thai law does not have any regulations for changing the company name. Kindly note that if you would like to change the company name and your company also have the stamp, you also need to change it as well which the process for change of company name and company seal are as follows; |
Q2 – Our company will register for change of company name. Can we use the shareholder name to reserve the new company name same as when we setting up the company?Panwa: No, you cannot use the shareholder’s name to reserve for the new company name, which only the director’s name must be used to reserve for such. |
Q3 – The company would like to change the company name. Moreover, as our company is also registered VAT and Social security Fund which we understand that we need to notify documents for those departments too. Am I correct?
