Our company is a newly established company in Thailand. Do we need to request to have the tax ID card and how do we apply to get it?

Panwa: No, the company does not need to request to have the tax ID card. Since February 1, 2012 (B.E.2555), the company that was registered as a juristic person and acquire the corporate registration number (13 digits) from the Department of Development Business, shall use such number to be the tax ID number for tax filing purpose in accordance with the notification of the General Director of the Revenue Department.
