When the company issued sale invoice for “Deposit 50%” why did the company not record under Sale or Service?

Panwa : “Deposit 50%”: need to record to “Advance received” first when the company issued sale invoice for the Deposit but did not deliver the goods to the client and then when the company delivered the goods to the client, it will adjust and record Advance receive to Sale each month that the company delivered the goods to the client.
