My company has been in the import-export business for more than 2 years and has applied for a license from the Customs Department. Currently, our business is being converted to trade only without import-export products. So how to do if I would like to cancel this license? And if in the future my company resumes the import-export business again, can we apply for such license?
Panwa: If you are no longer in the import-export business, your company can submit the documents for cancel of this license directly to the Customs Department.
Moreover, kindly note that if you are already cancelled this license, you will not be able to apply for this license under this company. In addition, if in the future the company would like to operate the import-export business again, your only option is to set up a new company and apply for the Customs license or if you plan to resume this business again in nearly future, it would be better to maintain this license.
