My company rented the virtual office space in Bangkok and registered VAT before, the rental period is for 1 year. Due to the rental fee is so high and I would like to save the expenses for my company, I would like to know If I can move my company’s address to my wife’s address instead while still on the current rental period? Does the Thai government require to maintain the company’s registered address until finish the current rental period first or can I change the address immediately?
Panwa: Please note that if you would like to change your company’s address from the current virtual office to your wife’s address, you can do it anytime, which you do not need to wait for your current rental period to be finished. Moreover, the government does not require the company to finish its rental period in any address, which it depends on your company’s decision if you would like to finish the rental period or not and move address to another location. Moreover, for your case, since your company is a VAT registered company, if you will change address, must change at both DBD and RD.
